I pay only 6.99 a month for hosting at godaddy. It has mysql, php they give me 500 gb of storage and 1500 gb transfer. They also have a lot of choices for apps you can install to your website for free. oh and the price includes 25 mysql databases. I got the Deluxe plan and pay monthly. Domain name was only 1.99 for one year. I know it’s not free but it is cheap.

I would not suggest going with free hosting as the customer support will be non existent and your site will go down alot.
I suggest you have a look at http://www.hosting24.com they will register a domain name for free for life and come with unlimited webspace and unlimited data transfer and you can go with them on a monthly basis.
Also when you sign up with them if you enter in a discount code they will give you 25% off their ridiculously cheap hosting plans. code to use is 25OFF
